阶段一:中国美术学院图书馆标志设计

 

中国美术学院图书馆是为教学、科研、创作、艺术实践与学科建设提供文献信息的教辅机构,不仅历史悠久、馆藏资源丰硕,也承载着国美人最深沉的精神文化内涵。如何用凝练的、抽象的、图示的、写意的图形叙述这一幅宏伟的画面,同学们辗转研究,发挥奇思妙想,共同解决这看似“容易”的难题……

 

 

 

 

 

 

阶段二:中国美术学院良渚校区图书馆图标系统设计

 

 

■ 异托邦之境:空间与叙事的交织幻想 | The Utopian Realm: The Interweaving Fantasy of Space and Narration

 

将图书馆空间视作异托邦进行场域划分,基于学院和年级的横纵维度交叉形成的多元空间模式,矛盾并置、折叠空间以完成叙事表达,最终形成“会说话的”六边立面体,即三维轴测视角下的立体图标,并以此作为容器延伸出容纳所有基础设施与业态空间的完型系统,指明特定场景、空间和功能的需要,注入数字灵魂,使不同特质的空间共时存在于真实的场所,彼此映射地展开对良渚校区图书馆新功能、新场景及新型使用方式的构想。当立方体排列、堆叠,升维空间也将重组自己的开放与封闭系统,重新选择可容纳对象。异托邦相互渗透的公共场域是流动的双向河流,传达国美开放灵动的教学理念。

 

The library space is divided into fields as heterotopia. Based on the multiple spatial patterns formed by the cross of horizontal and vertical dimensions of college and grade, paradoxical juxtaposition, folding space and dimensionality narrative expression, the "talking" hexagonal facade is finally formed, that is, the three-dimensional icon under the three-dimensional axonometric perspective, and it is used as a container to reach out and accommodate all the infrastructure and business space gestrophe system. It points out the needs of specific scenes, Spaces and functions, infuses digital soul, makes Spaces with different characteristics exist in real places simultaneously, maps to each other, and develops the conception of new functions, new scenes and new ways of use of Liangzhu Campus Library. When the cubes are arranged and stacked, the ascending space will also reorganize its open and closed systems and re-select the objects that can be accommodated. The interpenetrating public field of Heterotopia is a flowing two-way river, conveying the open and flexible teaching concept of CAA.

■ 网格 · 光影 |Mesh · Light and Shadow

 

Icon设计灵感源自于校园内存在的网格纹路的立牌,网格的秩序性与光影的变化性相结合,旨在捕捉知识与想象力交织的本质。网格象征着信息的组织和知识的结构化,而光影则代表着知识的深度与无限的可能性,光透过网格投射出的阴影,形成不断变化的图案,如同书籍中跳跃的文字和思想,引领我们探索未知的世界。用轻松活泼的语言叙述了图书馆是知识和资源的仓库、是思考与启发灵感的场所,简洁而现代的设计使得这套icon在不同的媒介和尺寸下都能保持辨识度,同时也易于与用户产生共鸣,激发读者阅读与学习的热情。

 

This library icon design is inspired by the grid pattern of the school plaque. The order of the grid combines with the change of light and shadow, aiming to capture the intertwined nature of knowledge and imagination. The grid symbolizes the organization of information and the structuring of knowledge, while the light and shadow represent the depth of knowledge and infinite possibilities. The shadows cast by the light through the grid form changing patterns, just like the jumping words and ideas in the book, leading us to explore the unknown world. This set of icons represents the library as a repository of knowledge and resources, symbolizing it as a place for thinking and inspiration. The simple and modern design makes this set of icons recognizable in different media and sizes, and easy to resonate with users, inspiring their enthusiasm for reading and learning.

■ 格致|Ge zhi

 

图标设计灵感源于校园导视的视觉形象系统,以简约线条和短点呈现,与良渚校园风格共鸣,表达了学术的严谨、资源的互联和格物致知的精神。抽象与具象交融,展现了两大层级系统和一个功能分区系统,错落的排版将三者相结合,分门别类地展现图书馆功能分区和学术结构,将导视注入活力与美感,让人领略学术年轻化的灵动之美。

 

Inspired by the grid elements of the campus guide, the icon design is presented with simple lines and short points, which resonates with the campus style of Liangzhu and expresses the spirit of academic rigor, resource interconnection and knowledge of material objects. Abstract and concrete blend, showing two hierarchical system and a functional zoning system, the layout of the three cleverly combined, clearly show the library's functional zoning and academic structure, add vitality and beauty, in the navigation let people appreciate the smart beauty of academic youth.

■ 经纬 · 国美 | Jingwei · CAA

 

视觉来源于图书馆建筑物外部构形,由特定视角下生成的网格系统中提取图形形态,组合成一组字体,指示“四学院一中心”、数字媒体中心以及综合服务中心等不同机构名称。并结合于不同视角下楼段的透视结果形成的平面图形,编织出基于九层、九纵交织下八十一个空间的形象经纬系统。以点对点的具体对应形式以及无限自动延申的视觉特性构建起专属于国美图书馆的形象体系。

 

The visual source comes from the external structure of library buildings, extracted from a grid system generated from a specific perspective, and combined into a set of fonts to indicate the names of different institutions such as "Four Colleges and One Center," Digital Media Center, and Comprehensive Service Center. And combined with the perspective results of different building sections from different perspectives, a flat graphic is formed, weaving an image latitude and longitude system based on 81 spaces interwoven with nine floors and nine verticals. Build a unique image system for the CAA Library based on the specific point-to-point correspondence and the visual characteristics of infinite automatic extension.

■ 几何空间|Geometric Space

 

提取良渚校区图书馆三维轴侧下视角下的空间立面,以代表四个学院、一个中心特征的元素构建叙事逻辑、图形表意,由此展开一系列象征指示功能的场景应用及流动业态图标。2.5D的视觉形象表达了良渚校区图书馆面向智能化时代、开放包容的场域特色,动态化图标能迎合多种叙事逻辑无限延展、高效传递信息的同时,半开放式的形式也为观众提供交互应用的潜在可能。

 

Extracting the spatial facade of the Liangzhu Campus Library from the perspective of the three-dimensional axis, constructing narrative logic and graphic representation with elements representing four colleges and one central feature, thus unfolding a series of symbolic and indicative scene applications and mobile business icons. The 2.5D visual image expresses the characteristics of the Liangzhu Campus Library, which is open and inclusive in the era of intelligence. Dynamic icons can cater to various narrative logics and efficiently transmit information. At the same time, the semi open form also provides the potential for interactive applications for the audience.

■ (9^n) | Nth Power of Nine

 

基于图书馆的建筑外形为出发点,提取完整的视觉生态并以多元、可变、具有适应性的特点为中心,制作一套灵活的视觉系统。在视觉上提取建筑的外立面以及体现内部结构区域划分的顶面,用基本的几何形态概括,回应包容、可变的特点。整体的导视逻辑从建筑结构与功能出发,整个建筑为一个母集,下设九个子集,形成楼层与分区相结合构成一个导视逻辑,并契合七区六院的规划。整体的导视系统适用于不同的使用场景与不同的价值观念,充分保留再设计的空间。

 

Starting from the architectural form of the library, we extracted the complete visual ecology and created a flexible visual system centered on the characteristics of diversity, changeability, and adaptability. The facade of the building and the top surface, which reflects the division of the internal structure, are visually extracted and summarized in a basic geometric form, responding to the characteristics of inclusiveness and variability. The overall visualization logic starts from the structure and function of the building, with the whole building as a mother set, divided into nine subsets, forming a combination of floors and zones to form a visualization logic that fits the planning of seven districts and six courtyards. The overall visualization system is applicable to different use scenarios and different values, fully retaining the space for redesign.

■ 融彩·国美 | Melt color · CAA

 

以中国图书分类法为切入点,基于对一级、二级图书的认知理解进行 icon 创作。剪纸形态的运用,突破了校区建筑的整齐划一,注入了轻松愉悦的氛围。色彩方案运用红黄蓝三原色,其象征着热情、活力和权威,与一级分类的基础层级相呼应,体现了本源和最初的象征意义。而二级分类则选用紫绿黑,传递出清新、优雅和沉稳的感觉。这种色彩设计巧妙地与良渚校区的建筑和文化氛围相融合,展现出创新与独特之处,为读者环境增添了一抹趣味。

 

Starting from the Chinese book classification, icon creation is based on the cognition and understanding of the first and second level books. The use of paper-cut forms breaks through the uniformity of campus buildings and injects a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The color scheme uses the three primary colors of red, yellow and blue, which symbolize enthusiasm, vitality and authority, echoing the basic level of the first class classification, reflecting the original and original symbolic meaning. The secondary classification uses purple, green and black to convey a fresh, elegant and calm feeling. This color design is cleverly integrated with the architectural and cultural atmosphere of Liangzhu Campus, showing innovation and uniqueness, adding a touch of interest to the readers' environment.

■ 方圆 · 流线之韵 | Rhyme of Fangyuan · Streamline

 

本组图书导视icon从五大基础学科和其下专业分部的形象出发,结合我校图书馆现代、年轻的设计风格进行icon设计。整组icon都使用方正的等线构成,意在体现当代设计极简的艺术风格。通过icon纵横比例大小来区分五大学科与其下所包含的艺术书籍分类,希望通过较为简洁的图形语言来准确传达分类信息,创作出符合当下时代设计理念的,具有国美活力的图书馆分类icon设计。

 

Based on the image of the five basic disciplines and their subdivisions, the book guide of this group designs icon in combination with the modern and young design style of our school library. The whole group of ICONS is composed of square and equal lines, intended to reflect the minimalist artistic style of contemporary design. Through the icon vertical and horizontal ratio, the five disciplines are distinguished from the art book classification contained under them, hoping to accurately convey the classification information through more concise graphic language, and create a library classification icon design that meets the design concept of the current era and has the vitality of China Academy of Art.

■ FOLDING  SPACE | 折叠空间

 

视觉方案以方形纸盒的展开图为设计灵感。我们运用七种不同的纸盒展开方式和颜色对应馆内七区,同时结合不同的图案、符号进行变换,以此对应不同的功能区。方体代表着图书馆的稳固、有序,纸盒的展开蕴意着知识的延展和变幻,以现代化的图形形象表现出良渚校区图书馆丰富的知识资源和文化内容亟待读者去展开与探索。

 

The visual scheme is inspired by the unfolding diagram of a square cardboard box. We use seven different cardboard box unfolding methods and colors to correspond to the seven areas in the library, while combining different patterns and symbols for transformation, in order to correspond to different functional areas. The square represents the stability and orderliness of the library, while the unfolding of paper boxes implies the extension and transformation of knowledge. Showcasing the rich knowledge resources and cultural content of the Liangzhu Campus Library, as well as its unique and modern image.
